Getting Started

  • What makes Flack Family Chiropractic different?

Not only are we a neurologically-focused family chiropractic practice, but we are also the only office in the CSRA offering INSiGHT® neurological scan technology. We use gentle scans to measure how your nervous system is regulating, resting, and adapting, allowing us to move away from guesswork and instead create personalized care plans based on clear, objective data. Our focus is on long-term healing and function for the whole family, and our office is intentionally designed to be family-friendly, including a dedicated play area so children feel comfortable and at home during every visit.

  • Who do you care for?

We provide care for the entire family! Pregnant and postpartum moms, infants, toddlers, school-aged children, teens, and busy parents. We also support active families who want to prioritize prevention, performance, and long-term nervous system health at every stage of life.

  • Do I need a referral?

No referral is needed. You can simply schedule your first visit when you’re ready.

  • What happens at the first visit?

At your first visit, we take time to understand your health history, goals, and what’s bringing you in. We then complete a gentle evaluation and INSiGHT scans to assess how your nervous system is functioning. After reviewing your initial findings, we’ll explain what we see and outline your next steps. If care feels like a good fit, we’ll schedule your Report of Findings visit, where we go deeper into your results and design your personalized care plan.

  • Do you take X-rays?

We do not take X-rays in our office. If X-rays are clinically necessary, we can refer you to a nearby imaging facility that offers convenient walk-in X-rays. Most care decisions in our office are guided by your health history, consultation, physical findings, and INSiGHT® neurological scans.

  • How long are visits?

First visits typically take 40–60 minutes and include your consultation, exam, and INSiGHT® scans. Regular adjustments are usually 10–15 minutes depending on age, needs, and your care plan.

  • What should we wear/bring?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily. For infants, you’re welcome to bring a bottle, pacifier, or anything that helps them feel comfortable, along with any relevant medical records or reports if you have them.

  • Where are you located and how do we book?

We are located at 4246 Washington Road, Suite 6, Evans, Georgia 30809. You can book online anytime or call us directly at 706-305-3241.

Nervous System & Scans

  • What are INSiGHT® scans? Do they hurt?

INSiGHT® scans are safe, gentle, and completely non-invasive. They help us understand how your nervous system is functioning beneath the surface, including how your body or your baby’s body is handling stress, adapting, and regulating day to day. Instead of guessing based on symptoms alone, we use this information to better understand what’s really going on so we can tailor care specifically to you. There are no needles or radiation, and they are safe for pregnancy, babies, children, and adults. This helps us care for the root of the problem, not just what you’re feeling on the surface.

  • Why scan if I already “feel” what’s wrong?

What you feel and what your nervous system is doing don’t always match in real time. Symptoms often show up after your body has already been under stress for a while. INSiGHT® scans allow us to see what’s happening beneath the surface so we can better track progress and provide more precise, personalized care over time.

  • How often will you rescan?

We recheck INSiGHT® scans at key milestones to monitor progress and adjust your care plan as needed. Most commonly, this happens every 8–12 visits, though timing may vary based on age, goals, and how your nervous system is responding.

Pregnancy, Postpartum & Pediatrics

  • Is chiropractic care safe during pregnancy?

Yes. Dr. Beth is Webster certified and uses gentle, pregnancy-specific chiropractic techniques to support comfort, pelvic balance, and optimal nervous system function throughout pregnancy and birth preparation.

  • Can you help postpartum?

Absolutely. Postpartum care is designed to support your body through recovery and the major physical, emotional, and hormonal changes of this season. Care may help with regulation, sleep, mood, and overall nervous system balance as your body heals and adjusts after birth.

  • Do you adjust babies and kids?

Yes. Pediatric chiropractic care is extremely gentle and always tailored to your child’s age, size, and needs. Adjustments often involve very light sustained pressure rather than forceful movement. We also use age-appropriate assessments and INSiGHT® scans to guide care.

  • What infant or kid challenges do you see?

We commonly see families seeking support for feeding and latch challenges, colic or reflux, sleep difficulties, constipation, head shape concerns or torticollis, sensory or focus-related struggles, behavior regulation challenges, frequent illness, and sports-related aches or injuries.

  • What does a chiropractic adjustment for a baby or child actually look like?

Pediatric chiropractic care is extremely gentle and always adapted to your child’s age, size, and comfort level. For infants, adjustments are often no more than light fingertip pressure used to support normal motion and nervous system balance. There is no twisting, cracking, or forceful movement. Many babies sleep, feed, or stay relaxed during their visit, and care is always guided by what your child’s nervous system needs in that moment.

  • Are adjustments painful?

No. Chiropractic care in our office is gentle and specific, especially for pregnancy and pediatrics. Most patients describe feeling relief, ease, or relaxation during and after their visit.

  • What if my child is wiggly or anxious?

That’s completely okay. We meet kids exactly where they are. Our environment is designed to be welcoming and flexible, with playful spaces, different positioning options, and short, gentle sessions when needed so your child feels safe and comfortable.

  • Can both parents attend?

Yes, and we actually encourage it. When parents are on the same page and understand what’s going on, it helps create consistency at home and often supports better, faster progress.

For Dads & Active Families

  • Do you work with dads?

Absolutely. Many dads come in for support with stress, tension, low energy, old injuries, and overall performance. Nervous system-focused chiropractic care can help support recovery, sleep quality, and resilience both at work and at home.

  • Do you help youth athletes?

Yes. We work with young athletes to support recovery, coordination, injury resilience, and overall performance. When appropriate, we also collaborate on return-to-play recommendations.

Customized Care Plans

  • Will my plan be customized?

Yes. Every care plan is tailored to your specific history, exam findings, and INSiGHT® scan results, as well as your age, goals, and stage of life. We review everything together during your Report of Findings so you understand exactly what we see, why it matters, and how your care plan is designed.

  • How often will I come in?

Frequency is based on your scan results, your goals, and how your nervous system is adapting. Early phases of care are typically focused on creating momentum and shifting long-standing patterns, while later phases focus on stability, regulation, and long-term resilience.

  • Do you give exercises or home care?

When appropriate, yes. We may recommend simple, realistic strategies such as breathing techniques, vagal nerve support exercises, sleep hygiene tips, or gentle movement to help support your nervous system between visits.

Conditions & Results

  • What conditions do you treat?

We don’t focus on “treating conditions.” Instead, we work to reduce nervous system stress and correct spinal subluxations so your body can function and heal the way it was designed to. As nervous system balance improves, many families notice positive changes in areas like sleep, focus, digestion, mood regulation, and overall comfort and mobility.

  • How quickly will we notice changes?

Every nervous system responds differently, so results vary from person to person. Many families notice early changes in sleep, calm, digestion, or behavior within the first phase of care, while others experience more gradual, steady improvement over time. It is also common for INSiGHT® scan improvements to show before noticeable symptom changes occur, and this is a normal part of the healing process.

Expectations & Consistency

  • Why does consistency matter?

Changing stress patterns takes repetition. With consistent, scan-guided care, the brain and body can begin to shift out of old patterns and build new, more resilient pathways, helping the progress you make actually last.

  • What happens if we miss a visit?

Life happens, especially with families. If you miss a visit, we’ll help you get back on track and adjust your care plan as needed so progress stays on course.

Financials & Insurance

  • Do you accept insurance?

We are a cash-based practice and do not bill insurance. This allows us to focus on personalized, neurologically focused care without insurance restrictions or limitations.

  • Can I use HSA/FSA or submit to my insurance?

Yes. We can provide detailed superbills that you may submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your plan.

  • What forms of payment do you take?

We accept cash, debit and credit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and checks.

  • When is payment due?

Payment is due at the time of service unless you are enrolled in a prepaid plan.

Policies

  • Cancellation policy

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to offer that time to another family in need of care.

  • Sick policy

If your child is actively ill with a fever, vomiting, or a stomach bug, please call us so we can help you reschedule. If it’s a mild sniffle and they are otherwise feeling well, Dr. Beth is confident that, when appropriate, gentle adjustments can support the body’s regulation and recovery. When in doubt, just reach out and we’ll guide you.
