Frequently Asked Questions
Getting Started
-
What makes Flack Family Chiropractic different?
We’re a neurologically-focused, family practice. We measure how your nervous system is regulating, resting, and adapting with gentle INSiGHT® scans, then build a personalized care plan—no guesswork, just data-driven care for deep healing.

-
Who do you care for?
Whole families—pregnant & postpartum moms, babies, toddlers, school-aged kids, teens, and worn-out dads. We also support active families who want prevention and performance.

-
Do I need a referral?
No. A referral is not needed. Just book your first visit.

-
What happens at the first visit?
We’ll talk through your goals and history, complete a gentle exam and INSiGHT scans, review initial findings, and outline next steps. If care is a good fit, we’ll schedule your Report of Findings to go deeper and lay out your customized plan.
Nervous System & Scans
-
What are INSiGHT® scans? Do they hurt?
They’re safe, non-invasive scans that measure stress, balance, and adaptability in your nervous system. No needles or radiation, and they’re kid-friendly.

-
Why scan if I already “feel” what’s wrong?
Symptoms can lag behind healing. Scans let us see change beneath the surface and guide precise, personalized adjustments over time.

-
How often will you rescan?
We rescan at key checkpoints to track progress and tailor your plan (typically every 8–12 visits, adjusted to age and goals).
Pregnancy, Postpartum & Pediatrics
-
Is chiropractic care safe during pregnancy?
Yes. Dr. Beth uses gentle, pregnancy-specific techniques (including Webster-informed care) to support comfort, pelvic balance, and easier birth prep.

-
Can you help postpartum?
Absolutely. Postpartum care supports recovery, sleep, mood, and feeding dynamics—helping moms regulate and heal in a big season of change.

-
Do you adjust babies and kids?
Yes. Pediatric adjustments are very gentle—often just light sustained pressure. We use age-appropriate exams and scans to guide care.

-
What infant or kid challenges do you see?
Feeding/latch, colic/reflux, sleep struggles, constipation, head shape/torticollis, sensory/focus/behavior challenges, recurrent “kick-the-sick,” sports aches, and more.
Conditions & Results
-
What conditions do you treat?
We don’t “treat” conditions; we correct nervous system stress and spinal subluxations so the body can function and heal better. Families commonly notice improvements with sleep, focus, digestion, mood regulation, and mobility/pain.

-
How quickly will we notice changes?
Every nervous system is different. Many families see early wins in sleep, calm, or digestion; others need steadier, consistent care. Scans often improve before symptoms do—that’s normal and expected.

-
Do you take X-rays?
Only when clinically indicated. Most care plans are guided by history, exam, and INSiGHT scans.
Customized Care Plans
-
Will my plan be customized?
Yes. Your plan reflects your story, exam, and scan findings—as well as age, goals, and season of life. We’ll review it together at your Report of Findings so you know exactly why and how we’ll proceed.

-
How often will I come in?
Frequency depends on your scans and goals. Early phases focus on momentum and pattern change; later phases emphasize stabilization and resilience.

-
Do you give exercises or home care?
When helpful, yes—simple routines for breath, vagal tone, sleep hygiene, and movement to support your nervous system between visits.
Financials & Insurance
-
Do you accept insurance?
We are a cash-based practice and do not bill insurance. This allows us to deliver personalized, neurologically-focused care without insurance restrictions.

-
Can I use HSA/FSA or submit to my insurance?
Yes. We provide detailed receipts/superbills so you can self-submit. Many families also use HSA/FSA funds.

-
What forms of payment do you take?
Cards, HSA/FSA cards, and cash. Ask about family plans and prepaid options that fit your budget.

-
When is payment due?
At the time of service unless you’re on a prepaid plan.
Safety & Comfort
-
Are adjustments painful?
No. Techniques are gentle and specific—especially for pregnancy and pediatrics. Most patients feel relief and relaxation.

-
What if my child is wiggly or anxious?
Totally fine. We meet kids where they are—playful rooms, flexible positioning, and short, gentle sessions.

-
Can both parents attend?
Yes, and we encourage it. Aligned goals at home accelerate results.
Logistics
-
How long are visits?
First visits typically run 40–60 minutes (history, exam, scans). Regular adjustments are usually 10–15 minutes, depending on age and needs.

-
What should we wear/bring?
Comfortable clothing. For babies, bring a bottle/paci if helpful and any relevant reports.

-
Where are you located and how do we book?
4246 Washington Road, Suite 6, Evans, Georgia 30809. Book online anytime or call us at 706-305-3241.
For Dads & Active Families
-
Do you work with dads?
Absolutely. Many dads come in for stress, tension, low energy, and old injuries. Nervous system-focused care helps with recovery, sleep, and performance at work and home.

-
Do you help youth athletes?
Yes. Great for recovery, coordination, and injury resilience. We also collaborate on return-to-play plans.
Expectations & Consistency
-
Why does consistency matter?
Changing stress patterns takes repetition. Consistent, scan-guided care helps the brain and body build new, resilient pathways—so wins stick.

-
What happens if we miss a visit?
Life happens. We’ll help you get back on track and adjust your plan as needed.
